The Probers are a story of vision and the American Dream...an elite and transformative punk  ensemble, that evolved long past their fiery birth. Their legacy provides a framework of not only how artists should complete their goals, and a deep rooted tale of love and life long friendships. From their humble beginnings this in-depth drama finds itself in the center of a furious comedy and a cautionary tale. These scattered individuals who had not yet begun their journey in late 1979, soon found themselves playing arenas by early 1981, breaking down barriers and standards of practice in the music business along the way. They did it all with no record company backing or outside machine guiding their success. At an exponential rate, the band stormed to the top of the music industry on their power. Sought out by the media and record labels. Before the requests arrived to tour with major acts of the time, these visionaries had already armed themselves with a full stage production,  consisting of a 25 person crew, Broadway style production quality, complete with dancers, choreography, hair, makeup and multiple costume changes. They were bolstered by venture capitalists along with a highly effective marketing plan that was outstanding and unheard of at the time. With A&M Records ready to sign a deal, the band were drawing no less than 700+ people to shows, performing at theaters and arenas,  when their peers were still unable to fill small clubs. Their 45rpm record went through several pressings as it  stood at the top of the charts. Was one man responsible for the success of this band or is there more to the story? How did they forge new paths in multiple era's? What became of The Probers? What influence did they have on music, musicians, marketing, songwriters and those with whom they left a permanent mark as they  changed the trajectory of so many lives.
